- Well, the standard 3D graphics university-level text is:
-
- Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice (Second Edition)
- by Foley, vanDam, Feiner, and Hughes
-
- Published by Addison-Wesley
- ISBN # 0-201-12110-7
-
- However, this is a $65 setback and is 1174 pages long. It's like the
- bible of 3D graphics. Lots of math, if you like that sort of thing.
-
- My favorite, however, is:
-
- 3D Computer Graphics: A User's Guide for Artists and Designers (Second
- Ed.)
- by Andrew Glasser
-
- Published by Design Books
- Distributed by Lyons & Burford, Publishers
- 31 West 21st Street
- New York, NY 10010
- ISBN # 1-55821-305-8
-
- This is only about $27, 200 pages, and is about the easiest 3D theory
- book I've ever read (and I have several). It uses a lot of intuitive
- pictures to help you visualize various 3D techniques.
